History

Threading is an age-old form of hair removal originating in ancient Eastern culture. Rumour has it that beautiful Egyptian queen Cleopatra used the threading technique to remove her unwanted hair! Technique

The procedure utilises a length of thread which is twisted back and forth along the hairs which are to be removed.

The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle.

This method of hair removal is more effective and less painful than tweezing. Hair re-growth becomes finer and sparser after regular treatments.

With this unique method, hair is removed by the roots, in manner similar to waxing.

In distinction to waxing, the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatised in the process. The result … a safe, simple, rapid, and highly effective method of hair removal. Because there is minimal chance of irritation, it is very well suited for the sensitive face and upper lip.
